We’ve been a proud supporter of the Aviva GB & NI junior, senior and Paralympic teams since 1999.

As the biggest and longest standing sponsor of athletics, we’ve seen some amazing performances over the years while watching young athletes grow and develop into world-class performers. Our sponsorship helps make their dreams a reality. Without it, many would not be where they are today. That’s why we’re proud they wear our name on their vests when they go in to face the competition.

Year after year we work with the team at UKA to ensure our athletes get the support they need before, during and after events. We help them prepare through Aviva-funded warm weather and acclimatisation training camps. We host world-class events so they have the opportunity to compete against the world’s best athletes on home soil. We ensure they’ve access to the best medical support to help them recover from injury and rehabilitate effectively. And we raise their profile by celebrating their successes in advertising and PR.

It’s all part of giving our teams the best possible foundations to develop and perform. Foundations that we aim to put in place from an early age, as we believe sport is an important part of every child’s development. Our grassroots schemes are designed to give every British child the opportunity to get involved in athletics not only to keep them active but also to teach them about teamwork, leadership and the desire to perform as best they can. It’s about having fun and creating a long-term legacy for the sport while unearthing more champions along the way.
